Hello World! My name is Katja Leesemann and I am
originally from Germany, now living in Rio de
Janeiro with a 3 ½ year stop in lovely Lafayette,
Louisiana USA (oh I miss the Crawfish and the
Festivals).
I have two kids and – of course a husband who is dragging us from one place to another - well, everything is possible in the oil business. Most of the time we enjoy living abroad and try to live and experience as much of the different cultures and adventures as possible.
I am a passionate volunteer as for example I am one of the webmasters of the International Newcomers Club of Rio de Janeiro as well as the responsible person to create a website for the Parent Association of the International Christian School on Rio. I do some translation work and try to keep up to date with my secret love, 'e-learning'. I would love to write a book about all the funny, scary, interesting and easy things of a life abroad… I’ll keep you posted.
