My name is Caroline and I am 39 years old, and as I write this I am looking out over Belfast Lough. My journey into complementary therapies started in 2000, when I started enrolling in courses after having survived the trauma of extreme domestic violence and the despair of deep depression. It was the angels that heard my cries for help and who showed me the way forward, and they have been with me ever since.
For many years I worked in a shelter for homeless men with mental health/addiction issues and most recently I have been working with people who are suicidal and who self harm.
In July this year I gained my Diploma in Counseling and this is a huge achievement for me as it also made me face my own issues. Despite all the painful experiences I have been through I wouldn’t be the person I am today had I not gone through them and I now feel truly blessed to be able to help others with whatever challenges they face on their journeys.
I am qualified in Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Advanced Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Thermo Auricular Therapy (Hopi Candles), Advanced Thermo Auricular Therapy, Hot Stone Massage, Ayurvedic Reflexology, Angel workshop Facilitator, Reiki Master, Working with Crystals, Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist, EFT Practitioner (Emotional Freedom Technique) which involves stimulating the energy meridian points on the body by tapping with your fingertips whilst making statements.
