Christopher's background and training is in Nutritional Therapy; he trained and qualified to practice as a nutritional therapist through the Plaskett College of Nutritional Medicine in November 2002, now incorporated into Thames Valley University.
It is Christopher's firm belief that the human dynamic is the all important key to working successfully with any kind of healing art, it was with this in mind that Chris sought to find a tool help him understand this aspect of his practice of nutritional therapy.
From 2003 to 2004 Chris undertook further training in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) with Anthony Robbins in London, Palm Springs and Fiji. This training served to augment the technical skills of nutritional therapy and provide skill in helping people get timely results that come from knowing and mastering aspects of human behaviour.
Christopher's mission is to work with people interested in expanding vitality and wellness and make jet stress and jet lag a thing of the past for all travellers through education and by being a prime example.
This mission was born from the very beginning of Christopher's flying career with British Airways. The consensus at the time was that flying is so unhealthy and bad for you that no one who valued health could ever consider flying as a career.
From the start Chris chose to challenge this belief. Through trial and error Chris worked through the solutions and learnt what really worked while at the same time bringing his naturopathic nutritional perspective to bear.
Christopher's observations were that the marketplace offered solutions that were unhealthy,, unsuitable for regular travellers, too complicated, incomplete, or too time consuming. The result of this research and experimentation is the P.H.A.R.E. well system Chris continually updates the tools and knowledge of the P.H.A.R.E. Well system, allowing him to reach a wider audience.
Christopher was a regular contributor to specialist airline magazine Aircrew (UK edition) magazine, published in UK, U.A.E. and South Africa. Aircrew magazine is the international lifestyle magazine for airline crew. Christopher writes his own e-zine and is engaged in a number of projects including a book and arranging workshops and seminars on themes around jet lag, health and flying.
